Our secret to a beautiful and long-lasting shutter paint and stain finish is using multiple sequences of sanding with finer sandpaper to close the pores of the primer for coating and smoothing the surface. This give the surface a glass-like finish for allowing us to put several fine layers of Sherwin Williams waterborne paint. Each layer is coated with this high quality paint. This labor intensive process is the only way to achieve a perfect piano finish.
